There are definitely types of porn that I do not like – that I dislike. One could even go so far as to say that I hate some types of porn. If I ever have any blog readers there may well be disagreements; porn which they love and have a fetish for but that I think is gross or sick or disgusting. They may think the same thing about porn that I like. All I can say to that is: I’m right, you’re wrong, get over it.
I don’t like child porn. Not exactly a surprising statement; in fact I wasn’t sure if I should bother posting this because it seemed too obvious. But then I decided that it’s probably not too obvious – which is sad – and figured I’d post it anyway. I’m not even sure what to say on this topic because anything I’d say seems so common sense. I don’t like the exploitation of children, and I think it takes a certain kind of sickness to enjoy even the thought of it. I’ve heard men try to excuse this behaviour, and I’ve heard people referring to it as “loving” children instead of “abusing” children, but I call bullshit on that. It takes a lot of intellectual dishonesty to try to make this kind of abuse seem OK, and while they’re tying their brains in knots trying to justify their sick behaviour children are paying the price.
I’m not even into the whole schoolgirl thing because of the creepiness factor. It’s true that girls dressed in schoolgirl outfits can look very sexy, but it’s not because they’re dressed like schoolgirls, it’s because they’re wearing such short, sexy skirts! (And they often have skimpy tops too; the pictures are sexy, just not because of the schoolgirl thing.) I can definitely see myself getting into fantasy scenarios with women where they’re playing a schoolgirl and I’m playing some kind of a teacher – except that they wouldn’t be high school students they’d be college students. Even in my fantasy life, the idea of fucking a girl so young is a turn-off.
Similarly, when I’m looking at pictures on Smutty or Fantasti I won’t “like” or “rate” photos if the girls seem too young. It’s sometimes difficult to draw the line because our society idolizes youth and younger girls in porn are almost inherently going to be sexier than older girls, so it’s sometimes a matter of judgement as to where you draw the line. But I’m not holding back to try to make a point, it’s a matter of what turns me on and what doesn’t; if the girl looks too young, it doesn’t turn me on.
That being said, you’ll notice that I keep using the word “girl,” not “woman,” even though I’m saying that I don’t like/want/desire girls that are too young. It might be a bit of a double standard, but I do find the word “girl” sexier than “woman.” Of course I’m extending the word “girl” to cover females well into their 20s, it’s not that I’m into young girls, but even using the word “girl” – emphasizing the youthful element of these women – might be considered to be problematic. That’s something I’ll continue to consider, and maybe at some point I’ll stop using the word “girl” so much.
In the meantime, nothing that I say on this blog and no choice of wording on my part justifies the behaviour of the sick fucks who consume child porn.
