Some Fun, Cheezy Porn Parodies

This one was a lot of fun to write. Well, not so much to write, but to research.

I recently wrote that I was potentially running out of ideas, and I wasn’t kidding, I don’t have anything in the pipeline right now. But I had the afternoon free recently, a perfect time to write a post, so I figured I’d go to Google and see what I could find simply by looking up news related to “porn.” One of the links looked pretty interesting: The Ultimate Guide to Science Fiction and Fantasy Porn. To my surprise it was a huge post listing dozens and dozens of movies, each with introductory clips. (Most of the clips aren’t pornographic – or not that pornographic – so don’t get your hopes up. Still not safe for work, though, so maybe you can get your hopes up a bit.) I wasted much of an afternoon looking through it and enjoying myself immensely. (Not “cock in my hand” kind of enjoyment, just “sardonic or amused smile” kind of enjoyment.) And if one list isn’t enough for you, the dude actually had to break the thing into two pieces; Part 2 covers superhero, Star Wars, Star Trek, and horror spoofs.

Not that I would go and watch any of these movies, mind you. I’ve written here before – and I firmly believe – that cheeziness is an integral part of the mainstream porn industry, but film spoofs brings the cheeziness to a level that even I can’t bear. So although this post entertained me, it didn’t titillate me.

I have to say, though, that I was especially impressed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer XXX: A Parody, as well as The Sex Files, because they were done really well. Especially The Sex Files, because they did a good job of getting the feel of the show down. As the writer of the post says:
[The Sex Files] (and its sequel) are notorious for being actually pretty decent. As in, the acting is not terrible, and there is an effort to get the characters right and tell a real story. And the sex is actually sort of hot. Also, the woman who is playing Scully has the look down pat, although the wig is clearly a wig. Most of all, a lot of effort goes into making the relationship between Mulder and Scully feel emotionally believable ...
That being said, I was disappointed when the writer of the post said how bad Not Bewitched XXX is, because it stars Jenna Haze as Samantha (as Not Samantha?), and I love her. Hell, I might go look for it anyway, regardless of how terrible it is, just to see her in it. (Spoiler alert: Probably not.) And although the scene shown from This Ain’t I Dream of Jeannie XXX was terrible, I loved the fact that they threw in a laugh track for it. That’s fucking awesome!

My final thought: the title for IR4: Inrearendence Day is so bad that it’s… bad.
