Porn’s Impact on the [Teenaged] Brain

Remember when I wrote about porn being addictive? And not just addictive, but addictive in a way that alters the fundamental makeup of our brains? And remember when I said that the effects are worse on younger folks because it catches their brains at a crucial formative point in their development?
Oh, and remember when I said that guys with porn addiction are suffering from erectile dysfunction because sex is actually less pleasurable for them than porn?

And remember when I said that none of these ideas were my own, I was just cribbing them all from a TED talk?

Well now there’s an article on HuffPo stating some of the same things, just without my flair.

My favourite quote from the article is this one:
In short, porn users could have a problem on their hands, or, more specifically, in their brains.
Don’t be coy, you were right the first time: the problem is in their hands.
